The legislation, HB 4146 sponsored by Rep. Frank ACCAVITTI (D-Eastpointe), is in line with legislation in 25 other states. "Skin cancer rates continue to increase and new studies have shown that there is an unequivocal correlation between tanning bed use and skin cancer," said Dr. Kay WATNICK, a West Bloomfield dermatologist and member of the Michigan Dermatological Society.
